Indigenous Plant Fair 2019, 7th & 8th September

Thanks to everyone for visiting the Plant Fair, and supporting us by buying our plants!

The sun shone, and the plants and people were on grass again, surrounded by trees and birds.

A big thanks to the Beachwood Mangroves for offering us the venue, which includes a lapa and board-walks. Many families took advantage of the guided tours of the mangroves, and learnt about the environment.

Thanks to our volunteers, for helping people to choose the right plants for their gardens, selling plants, providing the food, and manning the entrance and exit – we couldn’t do it without you!

Thanks to the nurseries who supported us so well, Ben Botha, Butterflying, CJM Growers, Collingwoods , God’s Green Gifts, Grasslands, Ladybird Landscapes and TwinStreams.

It was lovely to have so many environmental organisations joining us for the weekend, so thanks to the Beachwood Mangroves Honorary Officers, Birdlife Port Natal, Endangered Wildlife Trust, Lepidopterists’ Society, Timberwatch, Flora and Fauna Publications Trust, WESSA, uMgeni Conservancy, Ethekwini Conservancies, Monkey Helpline, Association of Garden Judges, and the Horticultural Society.

Did you miss it? Check here again to see when and where we will be back next year!
